Most people: the free tier covers domain monitoring, DNS, SSL, cache, and 24h analytics — more than enough for a few personal domains.
Power users / agencies: if you manage multiple accounts, many domains, edge compute (Workers, R2, D1, KV), or need long-range analytics and WAF monitoring, Pro is worth it.
