DNS Records
The DNS editor in CF Dash gives you full control over your Cloudflare DNS records from your phone or Mac.
Open DNS Management
- Go to the Domains tab and tap your domain.
- Tap DNS Management.
Supported Record Types
CF Dash supports all common record types:
Add a Record
- Tap Add Record.
- Choose the record Type.
- Enter the Name (for example
www) and the Content (the value of the record). - Set the TTL —
Auto(default) or a specific value in seconds. - For proxiable types, toggle Proxy to route traffic through Cloudflare (the orange cloud).
- Save the record.
Tip: Proxying hides your origin IP and enables Cloudflare's performance and security features. Use it for web-facing records like A, AAAA, and CNAME.
Edit a Record
Tap an existing record to edit its name, content, TTL, or proxy state. Changes apply immediately.
Delete a Record
Swipe (or tap the delete action) on a record to remove it. Deleting a DNS record takes effect immediately — make sure you know what you're removing.
Priority Fields
Records that require a priority (MX and SRV) show an additional priority input. Lower numbers are preferred (for example 10 before 20).
